Meet Neroli Price

Neroli is a graduate counseling intern at Mobile Mama, currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University Seattle, where she has also completed a certificate in perinatal mental health. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Cape Town and spent a decade working in the nonprofit and journalism sectors before returning to school to pursue counseling. Neroli's own journey to motherhood inspired her academic and clinical work on supporting those in the perinatal period.

Neroli knows that becoming a parent is often full of detours that can leave many feeling disoriented and alone. She understands that connection and support are vital to navigating this shifting terrain. Working from a trauma-informed and culturally attuned perspective, Neroli draws on Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and feminist approaches to create a nurturing, collaborative and transparent relationship with her clients. Neroli’s perspective takes into consideration the dynamic interplay between individual clients and the structures that govern their lives, looking for opportunities for self-advocacy as well as self-acceptance. Neroli comes to Mobile Mama with experience in clinical settings focused on crisis intervention, grief and loss.

Originally from South Africa, Neroli now calls Seattle home where she lives with her husband, young son and dog. She enjoys knitting, gardening and outdoor adventures with her family.
