Meet Jayne Connor
CMHC Intern
Jayne is a graduate counseling intern at Mobile Mama and is currently completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University. Her own experiences with the ups, downs, and complexities of motherhood are what first drew her to the unique world of perinatal mental health and continue to shape her passion for supporting others through this tender and transformative season.
Jayne’s work is grounded in creating a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel genuinely understood and valued. She hopes therapy can feel less like a clinical appointment and more like sitting down with someone you trust—comfortable, honest, and human—while still providing the intentionality, skill, and support of a therapeutic relationship.
Recognizing there is no one-size-fits-all approach to motherhood or therapy, Jayne draws from various evidence-based approaches and somatic practices to meet each client where they are.
Jayne was raised and currently lives in Skagit County, though Friday Harbor will always feel like home. Outside of counseling, you can find her with her family watching football, biking around the neighborhood, or on a ferry headed out to visit family and friends.
