Meet Isabel Seixas
Counselor, MSW, LSWAIC
Isabel is a social worker associate with a special interest in the perinatal period. Prior to pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at the University of Washington, she worked in early childhood education and special ed. Additionally, she has experience as a doula work and in birth justice advocacy, working with parents of kids with medical needs, and supporting those who have experienced pregnancy loss or a traumatic birth. While in graduate school, Isabel served on a commission to increase doula access across Washington State, and received a fellowship to increase social work in early intervention services.
Isabel is grounded in attachment theory and is committed to client-centered, trauma-informed care. She works to normalize the sometimes isolating experiences of new parenthood, and wants you to know that you’re not alone on your journey. Isabel believes that you have agency in your own care, and she is here to be a collaborative partner in your healing journey.
Isabel has spent most of her life in Washington State, and currently lives in Skagit County with her family. In her free time, she enjoys many hobbies, including sewing, quilting, and working in her large garden.
