Meet Audrey Long
MSW Intern
Audrey is a graduate social work intern at Mobile Mama, currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Boise State University. Prior to pursuing her graduate degree, she worked in environmental education, volunteered and interned at Animals as Natural Therapy, and worked in Hawaii with a program focused on horticultural therapy. After becoming a mother herself and experiencing the shock of the “4th trimester,” Audrey chose to focus her studies and research on the perinatal period and is passionate about increasing awareness and advocacy.
Drawing from relational therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic integration, and trauma-informed care, Audrey strives to cultivate a warm, compassionate space where you are the leader in your own healing and growth. She meets you exactly as you are in the moment, without judgment, collaborating with your unique perspective and building upon the innate strength, wisdom, and empowerment that already exist within you.
Originally from Boise, Idaho, Audrey made Bellingham home in 2016. She lives here with her partner, two young daughters, and their dog. When not working, Audrey loves long walks in the woods with her dog, mountain biking, crocheting, spending time at aquariums, and outdoor adventures with her family.
