Meet Josie Warner

Mobile Mama Counselor, LMHCA

Josie earned her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Seattle University. She has been a teacher for the past two decades and during that time has supported countless parents and children through difficult and beautiful life experiences. Her transition from the field of education to that of therapy is rooted in a deep desire to continue fostering growth and introspection, crafting a place where the journey of motherhood is nurtured and supported.

Guided by a profound belief in the uniqueness of each individual’s journey, Josie approaches her client relationships with genuine respect for the paths her clients have traveled. Josie’s approach is relational at its core, and she also strategically integrates other theories and techniques like mindfulness, self compassion, and cognitive behavioral therapy tailored to the unique needs of her clients. Creating a non judgemental and empowering atmosphere is a central tenet of her practice. Josie is continuing her training in perinatal mental health in order to expand her skills in providing support during this stage of life.

Josie shares a home in West Seattle with her fiance, her teenage son, and her pet cat. Her time is filled with neighborhood walks, enjoying live music, and spending time with friends and family. She loves to be in, on, or near water and can often be found on the beach at sunset.

A Note from Josie:
